Terms of Use
Effective date: October 18, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of ChartLab, including our website, free content, emails and the paid ChartLab program (together, the "Services"). ChartLab is an independent education project based in Switzerland ("we", "us"). By signing up, purchasing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to purchase or use the Services.
2. Educational content only, no financial advice
ChartLab is an educational program. Nothing in the Services is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or financial institution. Examples, charts, chart reads and case studies are for illustration only. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes.
3. Risk disclosure and no guaranteed results
Trading cryptocurrencies, stocks, futures, options and other instruments involves a high risk of loss, including the loss of your entire capital, and leverage increases that risk. Past performance, including the instructor's own past results, does not guarantee future results. We make no promise or guarantee of any income, profit or specific result. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
4. The program and access
The ChartLab program has two stages. Stage 1 (8 chapters) covers the core: how markets work, candlesticks, market structure, support and resistance, volume, chart patterns, position sizing and stops. Stage 2 (18 chapters) covers Fibonacci, indicators, multi timeframe analysis, leverage, journaling, Wyckoff, Smart Money Concepts, ICT and your trading plan. The free chapter 0 comes on top. Every chapter, its exercise sheet and its answer key are available in your member area from your purchase date. The suggested pace is one chapter a week, but you can go at your own speed. Access is personal to you and lasts for the lifetime of the program, which means as long as we operate it. We may update, improve or reorganize content at any time without reducing its overall substance.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Do not share your access with anyone else. We may suspend access in case of suspected sharing, fraud or abuse.
6. Intellectual property
All content (texts, PDFs, charts, images, videos and templates) belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publicly share, record or use the content to create competing products.
7. Prices, payment and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout. Launch or promotional prices apply only until the end date shown on the offer. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store your full card details. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, unless they are collected at checkout.
8. 30 day guarantee and refunds
If you bought the ChartLab program, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date. The only condition is that you have done the week 1 exercise sheet: we ask you to try the method before you decide. To ask for a refund, email us from the address you used to buy, within the 30 days, with the subject "Refund". We refund the full price paid to the original payment method, usually within 10 business days, and your access to the program ends. One refund per person. After 30 days, sales are final, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you experience a technical problem accessing the content, contact us and we will fix it.
9. Free founding seats
From time to time we may give a limited number of free seats in the program, for example during a Black Friday offer. Seats are given in the order valid requests arrive, until the announced number is reached. A free seat gives the same access as a paid one. In exchange, we ask the holder to share an honest review of the program, positive or negative, and, if they agree, a short video about their experience. Reviews and videos are only published with the holder's consent and are always labeled as coming from someone who received free access. A free seat cannot be exchanged for money and the guarantee in section 8 does not apply to it.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, disrupting the platform, scraping content, or using the Services for any unlawful purpose.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of market information.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from its effective date. Material changes will be communicated by email or on this page.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. The competent courts of Switzerland have jurisdiction, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection or forum provided by the law of their country of residence.
